Abstract

This issue of KIU Journal of Humanities touches on Development Administration and Literary Studies.

The first paper in this edition employs a doctrinal and empirical non-doctrinal method in investigating how technological facilities have impacted the smooth operation of the legal profession in Nigeria during the Covid-19. An online questionnaire survey was sent to 313 respondents (randomly selected) who live in Nigeria. Descriptive and analytical methods were used in analysing the data obtained. The study found that the occurrence of the covid-19 in Nigeria has led to the use of technological facilities, which has further impacted significantly in the operation of the legal profession. However, there are several challenges in using technological facilities. The study therefore recommends and concludes that there is a need to legally intensify and embrace the use of technological facilities in the operation of the legal profession.

Another paper this issue also explores an indigenous approach that can be applied in the educational sector for full effect without incurring the wrath of politics of suspicion. Through the method of philosophic analysis, this research foregrounds that the philosophy of Harambeeism has the capacity to inform a positive leaning for national unity in Nigeria.

On the whole, this issue of KIU Journal of Humanities features many empirical and theoretical based articles which can be of great benefit to every reader.
